This iPhone 15 screen is an original manufacturer Super Retina XDR OLED panel, refurbished. The panel itself comes from a factory iPhone 15, its touch IC remains native and has undergone no recovery soldering. Only the outer glass was replaced in-workshop, guaranteed free of cosmetic defects. This approach preserves the full visual performance of the original part, unlike hybrid assemblies or panels from third-party production lines.
Unlike a new original screen, you receive a panel that has been in use, tested in-workshop and restored. The glass you will install is new, tempered glass with high resistance and oleophobic coating. You benefit from a 2-year warranty on this part, which reflects the shop's confidence in the refurbishment performed.
OLED technology and HDR, what changes in daily use
The iPhone 15 screen uses an OLED panel, technology that produces its own light pixel by pixel. This means absolute blacks (the pixel switches off completely), reduced power consumption in dark areas, and infinite contrast. Videos in HDR10 and Dolby Vision display with their lighting details as designed by the director, without loss of nuance. On an ordinary LCD screen, this content would be compressed. True Tone automatically adjusts color temperature to ambient light, reducing eye strain at the end of the day. Haptic Touch offers tactile responsiveness that only this panel transmits correctly to applications.
After screen damage, installing this original panel guarantees you get back the exact rendering you had before the failure. A third-party screen, even labeled "compatible," produces slightly shifted tones, capped rather than infinite contrast, and often loses native HDR support. The cost of this part reflects this difference.
iOS recognition and sensor flex, what you need to know
Upon installation, this screen does not have the original Apple Sensor Flex, so the proximity detector is not integrated. iOS Repair Assistant will display "Unknown Part" status, without affecting video playback, charging or calls. If you want this screen to be natively recognized by iOS from startup, the shop offers the same panel with integrated Sensor Flex, in the Original refurbished Plus line. For this version, you receive the proximity sensor cable separately, to connect during installation.

On the old screen, your phone's serial number appears as reference, but only the exact model matters for this part.
