Warranty and after-sales service
1. Responsibility
As a distributor, Brico-Tech ensures the legal guarantees provided for by French regulations, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
Certain parts may also benefit from a commercial guarantee provided by the manufacturer or supplier. This commercial guarantee is in addition to the legal guarantees and does not replace them.
2. Return for order error
Returns for reference errors, diagnostic errors or change of mind can be accepted within 14 days of receipt of the order.
Conditions:
- Unused product and in perfect condition.
- Original packaging intact and complete.
- Product still sold on the site.
3. After-sales service return procedure
Any return request must be made in advance to customer service or from the customer area.
No returns sent without prior agreement will be processed.
Conditions:
- The returned product must correspond to the reference initially ordered.
- The warranty labels or seals must be intact.
- The invoice or any proof of purchase must be attached to the return package.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer except in the event of a preparation error or non-compliant product.
4. Special conditions for electronic spare parts
Electronic spare parts (screens, batteries, cameras, connectors, etc.) are sensitive products that require precautions during their handling and installation.
It is strongly recommended to test the components before final installation.
Once the product is permanently glued, welded or installed, it can be difficult to determine whether a defect is in the product itself or in the installation process.
Return conditions:
- Protective films must be present.
- No trace of final assembly must be visible.
- The product must not show any scratches, cracks or traces of glue.
Products showing traces of installation or handling that could alter their condition may only be returned within the framework of legal guarantees if a lack of conformity is proven.
5. Return costs
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless a product defect or a preparation error is noted.
The customer is free to choose the carrier of his choice. It is recommended to use tracking shipping.
6. Non-compliant returns
- Non-compliant packages may be refused.
- Any package not containing the invoice or proof of purchase may result in additional processing time.
- Products returned without correspondence with the initial request may be kept for a maximum period of 30 days before being considered abandoned.
