Samsung Galaxy S24 SIM Tray Green (Service Pack)

This SIM tray is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S24, in Green. It is an original manufacturer part, supplied as a Service Pack: new, in its Samsung repair packaging, with no intervention or replacement having been carried out on it.

The manufacturer reference GH98-48906E is included in this listing so you can check, before ordering, that this is indeed the part matching your device and its colour.

Why replace this SIM tray?

The SIM tray is one of the most handled parts of the phone: every card or carrier change puts it to use. A tray that no longer ejects, that no longer holds the card flat, or whose small extraction clip is broken, cuts off access to the mobile network while the rest of the device works normally.

A drop on the edge of the phone can also slightly deform the tray or damage its sealing gasket, without this being noticeable at first glance: the SIM card is then detected intermittently.

A Green colour that must match exactly

Unlike most internal parts, the SIM tray remains permanently visible, on the edge of the device. A colour that does not match the case exactly is noticeable immediately, even from a distance.

This part is offered in the Green colour of the relevant Galaxy S24. It is not suitable for a device of another colour, even if it is the same model.

Fitting the tray without damaging the connector

The replacement requires neither dismantling the screen nor removing the battery: the tray is extracted from the edge, using a SIM ejection tool. The point requiring attention is at reinsertion: the tray must slide in without forcing, as poor alignment can damage the internal SIM connector, a considerably more involved repair than simply replacing the tray.

Before closing, check that the tray's surrounding gasket is properly in place: it contributes to the device's seal and is easily lost during handling.

What the order covers

The part is supplied alone, in its Service Pack packaging, ready to be installed on the Galaxy S24. It is covered by a 2-year warranty.
