When should you replace the back glass of the Galaxy S24?

A fall, an impact on the corner or a simple deep scratch is enough to crack the glass back of the Galaxy S24. Unlike the screen, a broken back glass does not make the phone unusable, but it leaves the chassis exposed to dust and moisture, and a crack spreads quickly with the slightest new impact.

This part replaces only the back panel, in the original Orange shade of the model. It does not affect the screen, the battery, or the internal flex cables.

A Service Pack part, not a refurbished part

The term Service Pack refers to a new part, delivered in Samsung's own repair packaging: nothing has been disassembled or re-glued beforehand. It is the distribution channel that distinguishes this glass from a compatible part made by a third party, not any treatment undergone by the glass.

For a rendering faithful to the original device, the Orange shade matches exactly that of the Galaxy S24 as it left the factory, with no variation in tone from one batch to another.

Check the reference before ordering

This glass corresponds to the Galaxy S24 S921B model and carries the manufacturer reference GH82-33101G. Comparing it to the one shown in the device's settings or on the label of the original housing avoids any ordering mistake, particularly between the S24 and the S24 Ultra, which do not use the same part.

What installation requires

The glass back is glued to the chassis using a specific adhesive, which is not supplied with this glass. Removing the old panel requires heat to soften the glue and a pry wire or a thin spudger, so as not to damage the chassis or the components located underneath (wireless charging module, antenna).

Pressing too hard or insufficient heating are the leading cause of new glasses cracking during installation: it is better to proceed zone by zone rather than trying to lift the panel off in one go.

Warranty

This back glass is covered by a 2-year warranty.
