The Service Pack is Samsung's official packaging for repair. The fingerprint reader arrives in workshop packaging, with all elements necessary for its installation. Unlike a standard spare part, it bears the manufacturer reference GH96-12215E, the one Samsung uses internally. It is the same component as the one supplied at the Suwon factory, before it is integrated into the Galaxy S10e assembly line.
Installation and verification before ordering
Replacing the fingerprint reader requires partial opening of the phone and disconnection of the internal ribbon. If you have never performed this operation, consult an authorized repair technician: they will have the appropriate tools and expertise for safe integration. Verify before ordering that your phone is indeed a Galaxy S10e (model G970), and not a Galaxy S10 or S10 Plus which use different readers. On the old device, this reference is visible under the screen.
Color and appearance compatibility
This reader is supplied in Blue, the standard color of this part for the Galaxy S10e. The internal component works identically on all S10e G970 models, regardless of your phone's color: the shade of the reader does not change the integration. Only the Samsung Galaxy S10e G970 is concerned by this sheet, regional variants of the standard S10 and S10 Plus require different references.
