When to replace the Galaxy A80 battery
Several signs indicate that it is time to change the battery. The device shuts down abruptly while the indicator still showed 20 or 30%. The charge only lasts half a day where it previously lasted until evening. The phone heats up abnormally during charging or use, or the rear cover begins to deform under pressure from a swelling battery. This last case requires immediate replacement: a swollen battery can damage internal components and presents a risk.

Precautions during replacement
Replacement requires opening the rear cover of the Galaxy A80, disconnecting the cable of the old battery and removing the old adhesive before fitting the new battery. Work with the device switched off, and avoid bending or puncturing the battery during removal: a damaged Li-Po cell can ignite. Never use a sharp metal tool near the connection cable. A plastic spatula is sufficient to peel off the adhesive safely.
