Delicate installation, precision tools required

Replacing the macro camera requires complete removal of the rear glass, glued to the chassis, then disassembly of the motherboard to access the connectors of the four sensors. Each flex cable unlocks with a small plastic lever that a poorly calibrated screwdriver can break outright. Prepare an antistatic mat, plastic spatulas to peel off the glass without breaking it, a hairdryer or preheating station to soften the original adhesive, and a kit of pre-cut stickers to reattach the rear glass. Handle the camera by the edges, never by the lens: a greasy fingerprint or impact on the optical part permanently degrades image quality.
