Power + Volume Flex Cable Samsung Galaxy S22 (Service Pack): what is it for?

This flex cable connects the power and volume buttons of your Galaxy S22 to the motherboard. It transmits every press on these two physical buttons, both to turn on the screen, lock the phone and to adjust the sound or the ringtone.

A faulty flex cable cuts this connection without affecting the rest of the device: the screen, the battery and the other functions continue to work normally.
