This complete screen for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a refurbished original manufacturer panel, mounted on its frame and ready to install. Why replace the Galaxy Note 9 screen
Several signs indicate the screen needs replacing. A shock or drop leaves cracks on the touch surface, even light ones: they grow with use. Black spots frozen on the screen signal a failure of the panel itself, impossible to clean. A progressive loss of brightness makes reading difficult, especially in daylight, and reveals wear of the AMOLED backlight. Finally, the touch may no longer respond locally, or react randomly without you touching the screen: this is a failure of the sensitive layer. Original AMOLED panel: image and reliability
This screen uses Samsung's AMOLED technology, the same as the original Galaxy Note 9. Each pixel produces its own light, which gives absolute blacks, since black pixels switch off completely. Colors are more saturated and more vivid than with an LCD panel, and contrast is unlimited. This technology consumes less battery on dark interfaces, improves battery life and offers unrestricted viewing angles. The Galaxy Note 9 was designed around this AMOLED panel: it is the one you need to restore the original display.
Refurbished or new panel: what's the difference
This screen costs less than a new part because it was extracted from an existing Galaxy Note 9, then prepared in our workshop. The AMOLED panel itself, which lasts for years under normal use, has undergone no changes. On the other hand, the glass touch panel that covers the panel has been replaced: it is the surface exposed to scratches, shocks and cracks. The result is a used refurbished panel with a recent core, with a brand new protective surface. The price is lower because the labor cost of refurbishment is less than that of a completely new panel, but the reliability remains that of an original Samsung part.
Package contents and installation
The screen arrives mounted on its frame, complete and assembled. You simply need to attach this assembly to the phone in place of the broken frame: no panel disassembly will be necessary. You keep the battery, motherboard and all other Galaxy Note 9 components in place.
